Easter Sun-day

Thursday 28th April 2011

The residents enjoyed the weather over the Easter holiday; they were all drinking plenty of fluids and put on a high factor sun cream to protect their skin.  But it is difficult to believe that it was still April, surely we should have been dodging the showers!

The gardens are looking great at the moment and I recommend that you take the chance to walk around them we have twelve chickens and they are laying eggs daily so there is plenty to see.

In your Easter Bonnet

Thursday 28th April 2011

Easter Sunday saw the culmination of weeks of work by Wendy and the residents with an array of really superbly decorated hats.  There could only be one winner and it was Lilly, she took first place and I hope she enjoys her prize.

There were a wide selection of bonnets and the residents enjoyed making them and had fun wearing them in the lounge before sitting down to enjoy their lunch.  The cook received special praise from Michael for a really good Roast Turkey Lunch.

Eastfield launches new website!!!

Friday 25th March 2011

Eastfield has launched a fabulous new website! We wanted to make it easier for people who are looking for a good quality care home to find out more about what we offer so they can make a more informed choice.

We’re set in such a beautiful location and have so much to offer in terms of our facilities and nursing care; now we can show it all off with a fresh new look that reflects our professional, considered approach to residential care.

We now have a gallery of images and pages of useful information that answer the most common questions we’re asked about accommodation and nursing care by families of loved ones. Relatives can view our calendar of events to see what’s coming up and how they can get involved, they can see the range of activities that take place and read the latest news from Eastfield in one convenient place.

We hope you’ll enjoy exploring our new website, why don’t you click to contact us and we’d be delighted to show you around Eastfield in person.
