24 hour registered nursing care for the elderly

Eastfield Nursing Home is a dual registered nursing and residential home and we provide first class, 24 hour registered nursing care for the elderly who require either short or long term accommodation in our family-run home.

Dennis and Julie Greenwood have run nursing homes for over 20 years and know how to make every resident feel comfortable and secure and ensure their advanced years are happy, healthy and fulfilled.

We have 51 single bedrooms (four of these rooms can be used for couples sharing but are currently used as single rooms), all rooms have en-suite facilities. Eastfield is equipped with clear signage throughout the house to help make life a little easier, especially for residents that have dementia.

We like to keep in close contact with the families of our residents and we hold regular meetings, distribute monthly newsletters and offer invitations to events that maintain strong links and give everyone complete peace of mind.

Our residents form a happy and very diverse community at Eastfield, so we make sure every day is different and special, with activities that suit individual tastes and help them enjoy something new if the mood takes them!

For those residents who want to keep fit, our fitness therapists runs a weekly session that are open to all. We also have a vibrant calendar of more sedate activities, including film afternoons, music, aromatherapy and the chance to be creative in our arts and crafts sessions!

We have outings in our mini-bus at least twice a week to places like a day centre in Alton, Womens fellowship meeting in Waterlooville, trips out to local beauty spots, shopping trips and even a weekly visit to a local pub.

Most importantly, we like our residents to really feel at home. Whether it’s sitting down to read the daily papers, doing a spot of gardening or simply relaxing in the grounds and taking in the views of the countryside or the horses that train in our paddock and dressage area, Eastfield is their home from home.
